Perhaps I don't feel my kids are being sufficiently ignored and I need one more thing to add to this crazy beautiful life of chaos I have. Naw, that's not it. I'm ignoring them just fine already. TeeHee.
Maybe I need a distraction from my actual 'to-do' list that really needs to get done but that's toooooooo mind numbingly tedious to do. That one rings close to my noggin.
Recently, my husband The Professor, lovingly told me to turn the news off because it was making me NUTS. He's too smart to just come right out and say I was nuts. He is The Professor, smart is what he does. Instead, he said "Hey, hon, I see you on the Internet a lot and I see you care so much about domestic and world politics, crime data, World Health Organization statistics, and human strife but I think you should find something you really love to do on it. Find something just for you. Is there something fun on that www?"

Then Heaven opened and Angels sang because I found that there is this whole other world of BLOGS...where fun people do clever things and inform others on how to be equally brilliant. They entertain with their wit and they share their deepest secrets. All of a sudden the world doesn't seem so gloomy. And that's why I want to do it too!

My mother thinks I am very clever. My kids think I know everything. I do actually have an original thought once in while. I am raising three of the best children in the world with my husband; the world's greatest teacher.
Speaking of my miracles on loan from God, you will not see them, except for maybe a stray elbow in a photo here or there. They cannot consent to being plastered on Al Gore's Internet (aw, come on that's funny). So I will do what is expected of me as their mother and protector and we will refrain from exploiting them with mommy's blog.
